About us - Care-Related IT

Care-Related IT is a section responsible for the IT-related delivery to Region Dalarna's healthcare operations. This includes applications and services used in their core operations, such as patient record systems, radiology systems, diagnostic systems, and other mission-critical IT solutions.

Care-Related IT belongs to the Department of Medical Technology, which has overall responsibility for care-related technology. The section currently consists of about 22 employees working in the areas of Care Information, Imaging Diagnostics, Functional Diagnostics, and Dentistry.

IT Technician for Public Dental Care Job Responsibilities

Your mission

As an IT technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to Public Dental Care's operations. This includes:

• Working with support, troubleshooting, and incident management of IT-related issues
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining clients, peripherals, and applications
• Participating in the management and further development of operational IT solutions
• Collaborating with colleagues within Care-Related IT, Medical Technology Equipment, and other IT functions
• Communicating with users in the organization and, when necessary, external suppliers

The work is carried out in close dialogue with dental care employees, where your delivery contributes to creating stable and user-friendly solutions in a care-related environment. Travel to perform work at different clinics is included in the position, but no overnight stays.

The position is located in Falun.

We are looking for someone who

• holds a valid driver's license (B)
• has excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• has training as an IT technician or equivalent work experience
• has experience in IT support, operations, or installation work
• is service-oriented, structured, and solution-focused
• enjoys working both independently and in a team

Meritorious

• Knowledge of client management, user support, and IT environments in larger organizations
